At home, LogicJunction Wayfinding enables those visitors that prefer to pre-plan their visit to obtain all-encompassing route guidance to the specific hospital destination before they start their trip. This guidance includes current potential driving challenges (using Google Maps technology), easiest access parking guidance, and step-by-step directions once the visitor enters the hospital. Visit pre-planning is accessible online and is commonly used by the same demographic that pre-prints their airline boarding pass from home.
For those people who will wait to seek guidance until they arrive on the hospital grounds, the enhanced wayfinding experience will start either in the parking area, or inside the appropriate building. Once the visitor has arrived, there are two wayfinding options – self-service and staff-assisted. In the self-service option, a visitor will interact with a completely intuitive, multi-function and multi-lingual LogicJunction wayfinding kiosk. Hospital staff can supplement the LogicJunction kiosks, because hospital desktop computers, as well as tablets used by roving service staff, are able to access LogicJunction's wayfinding solution.
