Senior Software Engineer

This position involves developing interactive multimedia applications, building the foundation for future products, supporting and migrating legacy solutions, developing internal and client-facing toolsets and writing technical documentation.

Responsibilities Include:
- Development of core foundation for evolving products, tools and client-specific solutions
- Lead, mentor, and work alongside a team developers
- Enforce strategic development methodology for programming team
- Document product designs and deployment architectures
The ideal candidate will possess the following experience:
- Four-year degree in computer science, software engineering or related field
- 5-10 years of direct software engineering/development experience
- Proven expertise in a modern object-oriented language like C#
- Advanced proficiency in object-oriented development
- Comfortable with both web-based and desktop application development
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and frameworks
- Excellent analysis skills, ability to troubleshoot, debug and extend existing applications and codebases
- Attention to detail, pride in work product and demonstrable organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable with lifestyle and demands of small, growing software company
Program Knowledge
- Core Technical Competencies:
- .NET (C# )
- HTML 4 / HTML 5, CSS
- JavaScript / AJAX
- Databases, PL/SQL

Experience with:
- Usability, Scalability, and Accessibility
- Source control and build tools like VSS, CVS, or SVN

Bonus Points:
- Experience with Adobe Flex / ActionScript 3.0
