Senior Software Engineer

LogicJunction is a small, fun and growing technology company in need of a Senior Software Engineer/Developer to help take our products and solutions to the next level.

This position will involve working with and leading small development teams to develop full interactive multimedia products and solutions within our core markets, supporting existing and legacy solutions, building the foundation for future products and solutions, developing internal and client-facing toolsets and writing technical documentation.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Development of core foundation for evolving products and client-specific solutions in a fast-paced and agile environment
  • Development of internal and client-facing toolsets that are core components of the products and solutions
  • Lead, mentor, and work alongside a team of junior developers
  • Enforce strategic development methodology for programming team
  • Write technical documents
  • Based in or relocate to Cleveland, OH

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience:

  • Four-year degree in computer science, software engineering or related field
  • 5-10 years of direct software engineering/development experience
  • Proven expertise in a modern object-oriented language like C#
  • Advanced proficiency in object-oriented development
  • Comfortable with both web-based and desktop application development
  • Mindset towards code reuse and cross-browser compatibility
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and frameworks
  • Excellent analysis skills, ability to troubleshoot, debug and extend existing applications and codebases
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong customer focus
  • Strong attention to detail, high standards of quality and pride in your work
  • Comfortable with lifestyle and demands of small, growing software company

Program Knowledge

  • Core Technical Competencies:
    • NET (C# )
    • HTML 4 / HTML 5, CSS
    • JavaScript / AJAX
    • Databases, PL/SQL
    • Mobile Platforms
  • Experience with:
    • Usability
    • Accessibility
    • RIA technologies like Silverlight, Flex, Flash
    • Graphic User Interface (GUI) design experience
    • Source control and build tools like VSS, CVS, or SVN
  • Bonus Points:
    • Experience/familiarity with PHP, ASP, ActionScript 3.0
    • Experience/familiarity with Java
    • Experience/familiarity with game development, 3D graphics, rendering, Unity3D

Location: Beachwood, OH
